Last updated: January 2025

1. Scope of Services

Aldermanelegal provides administrative document indexing, internal policy audits, and records management services exclusively for commercial enterprises. Our work is strictly limited to structural document organization, file classification, archiving methodologies, and related consulting. We do not offer courtroom litigation support, active legal representation, financial advisory, or any service requiring a practicing legal or financial license.

2. User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your document inventory, storage conditions, and internal policies. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions to share third-party records with us. You must not use our services to organize or archive materials that violate applicable laws or infringe on intellectual property rights.

3. Limitation of Liability

Aldermanelegal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services, including but not limited to data loss, audit failures, or regulatory penalties. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We do not guarantee that our indexing or audit methodologies will satisfy any particular regulatory requirement.

4. Intellectual Property

All methodologies, classification schemas, templates, and deliverables created by Aldermanelegal remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. You retain ownership of your original documents and data. We grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use any custom indexing registry or audit framework developed specifically for your organization.

5. Termination

Either party may terminate a service agreement with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, we will return all your physical and digital records within 15 business days. No refunds will be issued for services already performed. We reserve the right to refuse service to any entity that violates these terms or engages in illegal activity.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on this website. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
